"...[T]his gives rise a little to the feeling of anxiety from which some of my companions in misfortune often suffer, and which is called 'seeing red.'"

In a letter to his brother, Vincent Van Gogh wrote about his experience in the asylum where he spent the last span of his life, where he painted Starry Night. He also painted and sketched several pieces in the garden of this asylum and titled several of them as such.

Taking inspiration from this during a meditation, I decided to abridge the notes I took and compile them alongside some of these sketches. This 8-page zine discusses the concept of being punished simply for existing.
